About me

My name is Antoinette Janssen, born in The Netherlands in 1948 and living in Norway since 2010.

More in Multerland, my blog about nature, holistic healthcare and human development.

My engagement with nature

I am conscious of being responsible, together with all human beings, for the protection of nature and the environment, and very concerned about the seemingly unstoppable worsening disharmony between the climate and Mother Earth, created by human activities. I try to be a voice for her through blogs and other media.

The idea of making handmade soap started in 2018 when I discovered that significant quantities of high-quality organic olive oil and herbs were slowly expiring, and thus lost for consuming. I have grown up with a deep respect for food: food must never be wasted. By converting these wonderful gifts from Mother Nature I created a hygiene-supporting and thus health-supporting biodegradable solution, based on the holistic principles of the wholeness of nature, an upcycled high-quality product, with zero waste, and 100% sustainable: the soap has no expiration date. From the leftovers one can even create liquid soap, or grated soap for a footbath.
