Needed:
- a 15 ml glass jar, with lid
- a drinking glass to stir the components before adding to the glass jar
- glycerine (available in a drugstore)
- info: pure glycerine (or glycerol) is not technically a gel, but rather a thick, viscous, colourless, and odourless substance, mixes excellently with essential oils and water
- an essential oil of your choice
- before working with the oil: do the patch test first, to check if you are allergic to essential oils

Recipe:
As a “gel”, but more syrupy
- add 10 ml, or 12,6 grams glycerine to the glass
- add 20-25 drops essential oil
- stir well with an iron spatula
- add the substance to the 15 ml jar and close it
- use a metal spatula to take it for use
As a spray
- for a spray, add about 10 grams distilled water, and use a spray bottle instead of a glass jar.
- to adjust it to a 30 ml spray bottle: use 20 ml glycerine = about 25 grams, add 40 drops essential oil, and add 20 grams distilled water
- adjust the total drops essential oil to what you like the best
- warning: be moderate in using essential oils, never use higher dosages than advised, and do the patch test first
